3/1 - PREPRODUCTION PROGRESS
March should be big for SCP.

I know that the puppets for The Viking Bunnies are being made. I hope to have photos of them soon. As soon as I get those, I can start making the three puppet shows to go along with the first App, as well as promotional videos to go on their new site.

I have also purchased www.supersmileyworld.com. Expect that game to go into production for release this summer in conjunction with the new SCP Games website. Super Smiley World will not be as big as Anarchy Island (or as complex), but will have similar game play. You will unlock "Worlds" to play, each World with its own theme, story, and about 8-10 "Super Mario World" like levels. Also, expect a lot of power ups and cameos by SCP Cast Members.

Oh, and I redid the main menu for Anarchy Island and completed transfering it over to the new SCP Games Network. There may still be a few graphical bugs, but all-and-all it works! Woohoo!
2/23 - IT GETS BETTER
Bad News: Tallow Farm is on break indefinitely. We ran into an issue with our puppets (apparently the puppets we used to make the show cannot be used to make movies/shows for profit). We can continue writing new episodes, but won't be able to produce any anytime soon. We'll also have to "remake" the three episodes we have done. Probably get back at it all in a few months.

Not as Bad News: We are still on our own when it comes to youtube promotions. I got some great advice from Glasgow Phillips (he wrote some South Park episodes and produced a few episodes of the show Code Monkeys) on how to be better at youtube, but his company Maker Studios and SCP won't be teaming up. That's fine. We'll remain in contact and he is a fan of Murder Bear (who isn't)?

Better News: We got word from our "Puppet People" that the puppets for Viking Bunnies are going to go into production TOMORROW! Not only that, but they will be doing them for half the cost of the original quote! Not only that and that, but they will also be "remaking" the cast of Tallow Farm. So Tallow Farm isn't dead... just in a coma.

Best News: Animal Fury is almost all in HD. One more episode to go!
2/20 - NO TALLOW FARM ... BUT BUNNIES!!!
Took this week/weekend to work on The Viking Bunnies' App, and it paid off! Major progress on both the writing the stories and learning how to add animations to those stories. Still waiting on those puppets which will hold back the launch date. Expect Volume 1 of The Viking Bunnies in mid-March!
2/18 - JOHNNY IN HD! ANGUS IN HD!
We are still working with our improved youtube channel to bring you as many of our shows as we can in HD! Add History Tutor and two episodes of Animal Fury to the list (those Animal Fury episodes take forever and a half to upload!). We'll continue to upload more HD versions of everything as long as you continue to like them!
2/17 - MEATBALL SUB SHOW TO RETURN?
I love Meatball Sub, but I have no idea what to do with him. I'm researching 'fair use' of movie trailers to make his about Movie Reviews of Movies He Has Never Seen. Basically Meatball Sub is going to guess what a movie is about based upon the trailer, probably making up most of the plot, and then advise if you should go see it or not. In al likelihood, he will not encourage you to see it. All I need is to get this microphone working

Oh! And The Happy Wacky Tallow Farm is now going for eight episodes! I got some more ideas going in my head. Probably won't have a new episode out on Sunday as I'm working on The Viking Bunnies this weekend, as well as another website for my homies The Started-Its.
2/15 - BUNNIES ARE COMING!
Made some advancements on The Viking Bunnies this week, including getting a prototype of their website up at www.vikingbunnies.com. I'm starting to wrap my head around this first App and what will be on it. Here's what I'm thinking so far:

- The Viking Bunnies Animated Intro
- 3 Viking Bunny Interactive Storybooks
- 3 Viking Bunny Puppet Shows
- Explore The Bunny Ship "Mini Game"
- 1 Episode of Space Bunnies

Obviously, this is the first "for profit" thing I have done, as this app will cost $0.99. Yet, all the money I made from this app goes toward having "Muppets" made of the entire cast of Anarchy Island. If that happens, then everything gets blown wide open; I can do Pants of Thunder, Lab Of Ingeniocity, Anarchy Island, and maybe even The Fury Saga using the same techniques I am using for Tallow Farm. So your support leads to more awesome stuff. See? I do care!
2/12 - TALLOW FARM GETS BLOODY!
It's the third installment of Happy Wacky Tallow Farm! How to sum this one up ... um ... well, there's a bear, a hammer, a trampoline, and a slight Anarchy Islany cross over. Parental Discretion is NOT advised because I don't want your parents to know you watch this kind of stuff.

Oh, and Lab of Ingeniocity and Living With Smiley are now in HD. Time to take a few days off to work on Viking Bunnies. Enjoy!

2/8 - THINKIN' THOUGHTS OF THE FUTURE!
There are 4 big projects on my mind, and they go in this order: Tallow Farm, Viking Bunnies, The Fury Saga: The Renegades, SCP Games. Of course, there's a lot of stuff after I wanna do, but I'm not thinking about those things *cough* Anarchy Island *cough* Lab Of Ingeniocity *cough* Animal Fury. Tallow Farm is booked for a Murder Bear minimum of six episodes with Viking Bunnies in production for three storybooks and three puppet shows. Not sure how those are gonna be divided up into Moblie Apps yet.

The Fury Saga: The Renegades is at about 80,000 words right now and I hope to have it done by the summer. It defenately will be done by the end of the year. SCP Games will slowly trickle along as a new "video game" site with some unique concepts. Basically, there's no logging in BUT there is still saving of your data! You jump from mini game to mini game collecting points, stuff, prizes, and all sorts of bonus stuff from our site. Who knows when it will launch, but I'm secretly hoping for a summer 2012 launch as well. Until later!
2/5 - TALLOW FARM NUMBERO DOS!
Let's just say this episode is about herpes, explosives, bees, and The Giving Head.

1/31 - TALLOW FARM IS HERE!
In case you haven't noticed, Tallow Farm is here! We'll have new episodes over the course of the next few months. Check back here for more vulgar puppets!

1/20 - MORE PUPPETS! MORE BUNNIES!
It's official; a Johnny Thunderpants puppet is on the way! We will venturing into fundraising worlds to hopefully get puppets made of our entire cast of characters over the course of 2012. It will take some time, but we will be turning a lot of our shows and cartoons into puppets. It's just easier, faster, and still very silly. So, while two of our "BIG THREE" start to take shape (The Fury Saga and Anarchy Island), the third piece heads a different direction.

The Viking Bunnies can only take off if I can figure out a way to put them on iPads, iPhones, Droids, and bla bla blas. With that being said, I am working hard on figuring out if that is even possible. No, I'm not hiring a third party to do my designs for me; I have never done that. The next few weeks will determine what direction The Bunnies go on their adventures. Pending the success of that, I'll be designing a new Viking Bunnies website and I will begin to write stories for the fearless fuzzy bunnies.

Bunnies first. Then Anarchy Island puppet shows. Then The Fury Saga. Go team me!
1/13 - ARE PUPPETS THE WAY TO GO?
As I continue experimenting with "what is the best way to make new content as fast as possible?", I keep coming back to puppets. I did a test with Tallow Farm and it went fairly well (live action puppets with a green-screen backdrop). So now, as Hollywood looks less and less interesting (as they snub great movies like "The Muppets" from award shows and embrace more and more Spielberg crap) and The Fury Saga novel gets more and more interesting, I really being to consider not so much "if" I want to make The Fury Saga movies myself, but "how" can I make The Fury Saga movies myself?

Before you ask "how can you make money if you make the movie all by yourself?", consider who you're talking to. I've never made anything with the intention of winning awards or making money. Yes, you do need money to live in this crazy world and I think my ideas are valuable, but I believe in such a thing as "having too much money". Also, The Oscars and Film Fests can suck a fattie. Most film critics have never made a movie in their lives (except for Roger Ebert who wrote soft-core porn), so what the hell do they know what is good and what is bad? I always rate a movie on one simple scale: Did the movie accomplish what it set out to do? If the answer is yes, then its a good movie. Half Baked is hilarious, but was the acting good? No. Did it matter? No. Excellent movie! The frog, pig, and bear made out of felt made me feel more emotion than a sparkly vampire or juvenile wizard ever could. The bottom line is that I am about telling a story that I find very interesting and I don't care how I tell it as long as I tell it in a way that people will listen to.

Now back to puppets. As silly as the idea of making a movie with only puppets, consider the buzz that might come with it; a funny, violent, and slightly serious movie about robots, zombies, wrestlers, drinking and chainsaws that is staring "Muppets". The Fury Saga is an action movie as much as it is a comedy. It will be like Sin City meets The Hangover … with puppets. On top of that, making short shows starring Johnny, Dr. Kock, and the rest of the gang would be much easier! The only problem would be getting the capital to buy 25+ puppets. I'll get back to you on that.
1/1 - HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ANARCHY ISLAND (& YOU)
As I contonue to figure out new things, develop other things, and eat even more things, I came across a way that you can play Anarchy Island WITHOUT having to log in every damn time. It's pretty dope. You can now log in to Anarchy Island from your computer and NEVER ACTUALLY HAVE TO TYPE YOUR FREAKIN' PASSWORD IN AGAIN (on the same computer)! I know. I was excited as well. Oh, and if your mom and day play too ... you can log out. So ... play!
12/27 - HOLY CRAP! WE GOT A MUPPET!
You got that right! We now have a Muppet! That's right, a custom built Muppet to do with as we please. The big question is "What do we do with it?". Well, CJ Goodwin and I had an idea for a "super short sketch comedy show" back in the day (like six months ago), so I might revisit that idea adding this Muppet to the mix. Toss in the previous post's idea of <30 second cartoon, resurect Tallow Farm and some other concepts and hey, I might be on to something. I just need a title and a name for this Muppet. Hmmm...
I would have kept earlier entries... but I didn't.
