Hi. I'm Noah. I made Anarchy Island. A lot of cool people helped test it and gave me some awesome voice work, but I'm really the only one programming and debugging. I'm not a company with a bunch of programming monkeys to do my bidding. It's me, and that's it. Here's what I've been up to as I continue to try and make this game bigger and better. I'm doing all I can to keep this game totally free, so your support (in the form of happy emails and baked goods) is appriciated.

I originally got into game design because I wanted some fun little games to go with my cartoons. Then my ambitions got bigger and I wanted an RPG where you can collect stuff and what not. I also loved Mega Man and Mario Brothers, so I wanted that style. After looking around the internet, I found that this blueprint existed, but it was always about "Knights" and "Wizards" and "Elves" and shit. Faries with big boobs and castles you have to protect. Fuck that. I want my game to be about clowns, hamsters, beer, machine guns, waffles, and random wacky stuff. So bam - there ya go. I don't care about your iPad and I don't care about your hipster opinions of Flash Games. All I care about is making a fun game, wether ten people play it or ten million. I'm no game designer (I'm actually a video editor), but I like making games and I figured out how.

This game style first appeared as "Adventures In Chaos City" in 2005 and went through 2007, then became "Homicidal Puppets" in 2010 after a lot of retooling and messing around. I do wanna bring Homicdal Puppets back using this format, but more linear. I've tried to really give "Anarchy Island" more of a focus while still keeping it free-roaming. I've been working hard to hammer out the learning curve and get people to understand that this game is really about stupid adventures with silly characters, not about saving the world or anything like that. Think of the Quests in the game like Episodes, and this Game is a Show.

I'm not sure what else to say other than I hope you play the game and tell your friends about it. Again, I'm not a company, I'm just a guy on his computer who likes to make games. This game will always be free to play. I might make some merch, but I'm not thinking that far ahead. Feel free to shoot me any ideas you have that you think would make this game better. I'm open to suggestions because in a way ... this is your game, too.
